New Trap House Construction

We owe all the people who worked on the new trap house bigtime. This looks great and it will be appreacated by all. Great job guys.
Tri County Trap League
This is a trap league that LSC has multiple team of shooters in. The league shoots at differant clubs in the tri county. It is our turn to host the shoot is Sunday November 10. The ranges will be closed durring the league shoot. This runs till mid afternoon at the earliest.
Volenteers are needed in all areas including coming out and just being there.
Annual Veterans day shoot
Again this year we will be offering free trap shooting for veterans on Wednesday 17th at 18:00.
There is always great food and better conversations. Grab a veteran and come on out to say thank you to those who served and are serving.

Raffle
Due to overwheling sales all the tickets for theTaurus Raging Bull Hunter in 44Mag were sold and returned. So the drawing was moved up to the November meeting. Congratulations to John R. who had the winning ticket.
Since that went so well a new rffle prize was located. A beautful Beretta A 300 with Walnut Furnature and a 30 inch Barrel is the prize for the January 5 Drawing.
There are only 500 tickets.

CCW and Other Firearms Classes
Keean Elliott and his Coyote Concepts are bringing back classes to LSC. Keep your eyes here and on the Calandar as classes get Scheduled there will be updates. Reminder that even though we have constitutional Carry here in Ohio, to get resiprosity to carry in other states you will need to have a permit and keeping your skills sharp is an element for firearms safety.

Alliance Amature Radio Club using Club
Again this year the Louisvile Sportsman's club will be hosting the Alliance Amature Radio Club's (W8LKY.ORG) Winter Field day event. This will be January 25 and 26 2025 (NOTE this is a corrected date from the one shared in the October Meeting). In the October meeting we discussed that the ranges will be closed for the weekend.
Here is a link to a Youtube video that was posted shortly after Hurricane Helene tore through the south. It talkes to some of what HAM radio operators are/were doing to support rescue/recovery efforts. Portions of the Winter Field Day event that we are supporting are focused on preparing and practicing for working events like this, that none of us ever want to see

Helpers needed in areas of Scoring, Pulling, and Cashier. It is all easy and a great group of people who are fun to hang out with.
We will teach the processes.
Come out, hang out, and help out.
New to trap this is a great place to start we approach from a no pressure point of view.
Scoring is done so that you can see how you did week over week or for bragging rights.

GPS navigation errors have been reported by some.
The drive is tree lined and on the SOUTH side of the railroad tracks at the club sign. Please respect the neighbors and use the correct drive.
From RT 62 head South on RT 44 till you come in to down town Louisville. You will see a BP GAS STATION, and GIANT EAGLE. This is RT 153/ Main street. Head East ( turn left) on 153/ Main street for 2-3 miles. At Maplegrove, turn left (North) on Maplegrove. Drive for aprox. 1 mile till you come to a set of rail road tacks. DO NOT cross the tracks. The sign for the club and drive way back to the club house is on your right (East). Take the long driveway back to the parking area.
